Stock Day
In an earlier post I was looking at my social security benefeits to apply some basic analysis to see if social security was worth it. During that post I estimated most people will need to save at least 20%. I don’t know about you, but I have to work 5 days a week still so that means one of those days is dedicated to my investments. It’s my stock day!
So I’m going to declare Thursday stock day because:
- Monday – Already associated with pain and misery, not befitting something as cool as your investment day.
- Tuesday – Wimpy’s payday for cheese burgers, definitely not a good savings day.
- Wednesday – Hump Day
- Friday – Everything Great Day
- Saturday – Not actually making money this day
- Sunday – A little reverence here, plus continued weekend spending.
Now that my unbreakable logic has been laid out before you celebrate stock day tomorrow with me by laying out your investment plan. I’ll even try to help out by giving my stock tip of the day (week, whatever) tomorrow. Hey, if one day a week’s money needs to go towards your investment, you should probably spend your spare time at least one day a week thinking about how your going to power those finances.
